Floor Tile

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Have you guys seen those self adhesive 1sqrft tiles that you stick down?? They seem priced pretty cheap and look pretty decent. Seem easier to apply then vinyl, and would be cheaper than wood.

As long as you get a brand that uses good enough adhesive, and your floor is nice and flat and smooth they're fine - anything but carpet, IMO - if your floor is too rough, you'd need to put a layer of particle board down first... Steve
