Armstrong 1135 Acoustical Panels

Post by Blue Plaid Shirt »

Hello all,

A friend of mine gave me some leftover "Acoustical Panels" for use in my studio. They are Armstrong #1135.

Are these of any use in a recording studio, or are they better suited for residential use, and I'm better off using OC703?

-or-

Is there any way I can incorperate them in my design without them causing problems? I really hate to discard them after she was thoughtful enough to save them for me.

Thanks,
BPS

For something temporary, and cheap, and using multiple 1/2" sheets in a 2" thick configuration, then maybe.

I think you're better off with anything on this page that's got similar absorption coefficients to 703.

Ok, thanks z. Sorry I haven't been back on before now. I'll use 'em like you suggested and see what happens. :)
