Hello, i'm working in the separation walls that split the CR from the LR, and i'm not sure of what should i do here so i ask, the thing is, i already have mounted the two false walls with an air gap about 5cm. i'm planning to use wood on the visible sides ( the ones that makes the studio walls) and in the interior sides, i used a thin kind of wood very flexible, i don't know the english name for it, it is 1 milimeter thin and covers the whole wall exept the window hole, the interior of each wall is filled with 50mm fiberglass.
Now the question is: it is ok to put the thin kind of wood in both interior sides of the false walls to get more isolation between CR and LR or it is a big mistake 'cos i've read somewhere that it will encourage the reflexions instead of absortion just like it happens with the traps for the corners or clouds?.
Well thats pretty much it, advice apretiated.
Thank you.

No such thing as a stupid question. SOmetimes you need clarification to settle your mind on theory you dont live with everyday.
Feel free to ask stupid/awkward questions for clarity's sake.

Niccie, even a thin membrane within a wall will act as another mass; from one space to the other, ALL you want is mass, air, mass. No more, no less. Otherwise, your low frequency isolation will suffer... Steve
