A small piece of the wall parallel. What can I do?

Hi,

My studio is next to finish. But I have a small piece of the wall wich is parallel to the front wall. Is about 500 mm x 3000mm. I'm thinking of using some panels like thi one:

But is so expensive!! 3 panels 1200x600 are about 100€. Can I use a DIY panel to break this parallel piece of wall?

Yes you can. The cost saving is enormous! Remember the thicker the material, the the frequency it will be effective at, and the less problems you will have unbalanced absorption.

But, what can I do?

I have a socket in this piece of wall at 400 mm from the floor.

This is a diaphragmatic absorver, isn't it?. It's a good idea, but expensive on time and money. What about pyramid foam? 1000x1000x80mm panels.
