Bass traps or absorber panels?!

Hey!
I am moving my studio and this time I want to make some acoustic
treatment, but I am a little confused.
If I build my own panels like the ones from Ethan "mini-traps", will
they became bass traps or absorber panels?

Soon I will post a 3D plan of my future studio,
just need to finish it with "Sketchup".

Any help will be great!

If they're 'soft' faced, they'll be somewhat broaband. How deep depends on the thickness, density, and distance from the front to the wall boundary.

If they have a scrim facing or a membrane of some sort, they'll be more bass only oriented.
