Broadband Absorber with Isover

Hello,

i was wondering if i can built a broadband absorber with some isover stuff, but i don't get any values for the density (in Germany). Also i did not find a distribution for OC703 here. Also i could not find any material/sources with the forums search function that i can get in Germany.

All i get is something like kPa*s/m^2 which mean somthing like the "resistance of the material to the air floating through" instead of density. (It is "kiloPascal times seconds devided by square-meter" with kiloPascal beeing the euro measure for air-preasure)

Does anybody know this?

Can i use this:

I still have one roll of that stuff left, maybe i should weight it and calculate the density?

I can also get Rockwool products here maybe i should concentrate on this. The goal is to build some absorbers for my room, details will come up as soon as the isolation of the roof is finished.

Looking at the absorption data (and rmemebering diferences between ASTM and DIN testing) the first is acoustically equivalent to 703 for this purpose.

I don't know if you still need it, but in Austria the Isover FDP (Fassadendämmplatte) has 50 kg/m³, The KDP (Kellerdeckendämmplatte) has 35 kg/m³. (both are glasswool)

Other good Company: Heralan
Heralan FP (55kg/m³)
Heralan FPL (35kg/m³) ....both are rockwool.

and of course

Rockwool Fixrock 035 (50kg/m³) ...which I use for inroom acoustics btw.
Rockwool Thermarock 40 (44kg/m³)

I bet you get the same stuff in Germany.
