angled walls

Post by jon s »

hi, simple question this time.

i notice that the angle of 12 degrees is mentioned as a reasonable angle to splay a wall to avoid a parallel wall effect.

if two opposite walls are were splayed at 6 degrees (net result 12 degree angle between them) would this give the desired effect, or are 12 degree required with both walls?

cheers,

jon

I just asked John this question the other day, to be sure - He said that a TOTAL of 12 degrees was what he's found it takes to be sure you control flutter echoes. So, 6 degrees per side is fine... Steve
