Ok, so I actually found a place within 50miles of where I am that has Roxul Acoustapanels(?) its 3" 2'x4' boards.
Anyway that stuff is pretty cheap, the only place I found OC703 is over 100 miles from here, they dont have any in stock, and would have to ship it to *them* from texas, so I could then drive 100 miles to get it.
So my question is this, Is the Roxul a direct replacement for the OC703? or vice versa? The Roxul is less than half the cost of the 703.. I would love to use this stuff instead.
Application: bass traps and keeping the sound level down between control room and tracking room.
Thanks in advance!

I don't know how to answer this diplomatically.
Many companies make equivalent products. Here is master list with links to suppliers and absorption data. OC, Roxul, JM, Certainteed, Fibrex, OFI, ALL make equivalent products.
Where ARE YOU? If you would include your location in your profile potentailly someone would post to you right with dealers!
Did you try commercial/HVAC suppliers? They carry the stuff we use more commonly that HomeDepot etc.
