help quieting a garage
my band practices in an insulated garage (r11 in the walls and r19 in the ceiling), is thre anything cheap we could do to quiet the noise outside the garage a little bit? preferably something that could be moved out of the way so i have a place to park my car when we're done, thanks a bunch

Welcome to the forum, enjoyer of cake.
I might suggest you head over to the Construction forum (on this site), and specifically check out the Reference Area thread, which will address your question quite thoroughly. Soundproofing has more to do with carefully engineered permanent construction techniques than simple and portable treatments, as you'll no doubt discover there.

Be prepared for some disappointment as a result of laws of physics... Soundproofing isn't easy, isn't portable, and is definitely not cheap. "A little bit" is all you'll get -- if that -- with high portability as a requirement.
