Post by balluda »

Hi ,I have a tone causing trouble in my studio ,it´s at 172 hz ,Is it possible to build someting to remove the tone or is it to hard to fix ?I have some big heat pipes running thrue the building and I think that´s causing the tone,it is not the ventilation....../ Thanks

The best way would be to remove the source - if it's the pipes then box them in :)

cheers

Well, that´s not possible ,is there anything I can do ?

I would just like to say thanks to John ,I´ve built several bass traps and panelabsorbers according to your plans , and they really rock..../ Balluda

What are the dimensions (ALL of them, including height) and shape of your room, and are there any acoustic guitars or drums sitting around? Steve
