Newbie Question about analyzing room
I want to acoustically treat my room with 703 Fiberglass but I want to analyze my room to be sure what is needed. Is there a Standalone unit(not too expensive) that I can use to analyze the room and can it be done by a newbie like myself or would I have to hire someone. I don't have a computer in my studio so it would have to be a standalone unit. Thanks for any and all help.

Your query is incredibly vague. Where are you to get an idea of availability of local items? I mean generally, New York city? Antarctica?
What is expensive to you?
What type of analysis are you looking for? System (room/speaker) frequency response? Decay rate? Dominant modes? Early reflections?
What is the room for? Listening or performing?
You mention that you don't have a computer in the room. Does that mean you don't have microphones, speakers, or long cables to connect ot your computer?
A comomn system used these days at a good bang for the buck value is ETF software, plus mic. etc.

Andre, Thanks for the response - sorry about the vagueness. I am located in St.Louis, Mo where the availability of most of the stuff I need is available here. I should have mentioned that I have a basement Project Studio, which is a combo Tracking/Mixing Room about 20'x14'x8'. I am looking for System(room/speaker) Frequency response mode analysis (I geuss). Just trying to tune my room so my mixes travel well. I don't have a computer in the basement, the only one I have is upstairs that belongs to my wife (and that ain't goin' nowhere). But if necessary I will buy a used one for this (and other chores). You mentioned ETF Software which is probably the route I'm going to take. Again Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
