Dacron.... for hangers

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

I went to a upholsters and they didn't have Dacron wrap..but according to them they had something similar called polyester wrap they use it the same way as dacron. Could I use this material for the hangers?

Dacron is a type of polyester - I'll bet you its the same stuff.

*But* that raises a question: On the SAE site it shows hangers as being fiberboard with insulation (rigid?) glued to each side. Can I get good performance by just wrapping the fiberboard with dacron/polyester wrap? That would be a LOT easier!
