tips for making a room (not so live)
So I just built a studio in my garage that is 17' x 17' with an iso booth in the corner that is 5' x 5'. Pergo flooring. I am looking for something to make the control room not so live, since this is usually where i record (my own) vocals... I'm figuring I need to get some studio foam, but where abouts should I place this on the walls or ceiling? I'm new to having my own area to work in and my setup used to be in a bedroom with carpeted floors and furniture. I have placed a 5' x 7' in the middle of the room and that helped but I need more. LEt me know if you can help. Thanks.
