Look below the window area where you type your message. You'll see this:
Hit the "browse" button (I highlighted that with a blue oval), find the image you want to upload, hit enter, then hit the "Add the file" button to actually upload it (I highlighted that with an orange oval).
Then you'll briefly see this status bar while the image is transferred from your disk to the forum server:
Repeat if you want to include more images in the same post.
When you are done, hit "submit".
Please make sure you follow the forum rules regarding the size of images you post.

Re: Posting Pictures
I'm trying to upload a picture, but it stays only available as a link to download...
Thanks
How do I upload a picture and make it visible on a post, instead of a link to download it?Thanks

Re: Posting Pictures
Attach it, then hit the 'Add the file' command. This will reveal an 'insert inline' option.

Re: Posting Pictures
That looks great but as far as I can see, it is more than 700 Pixels wide and more than 150K.
I have a Acoustic Measuring article here, copied and pasted, so the images are currently hosted by IMGUR and look great.
I have made some attempts to adjust them to post here, with some advice from Greg. But it ain't going well. The one image I did shrink is blurry, hard or impossible to read.
I will try a few different sizes and report back here if I have an Epiphany!
