Hello,
I need to treat my small rehearsal room that is approx 14'X13'. I plan to make my own broadband absorbers for walls and ceiling. Also some DIY bass traps. Is the choice of insulation that important? I was considering #RXCB351525
ROCKWOOL COMFORTBATT R-15 Stone Wd Barrier (15.25-in W x 47-in L)
I know 703 is a good choice but it's harder to get and more expensive. The ROCKWOOL I mentioned above I can get right from Lowe's. I'm having a hard time finding info on the performance differences or consequences of the use of 1 type of insulation vs the other. For my purposes, just a live rehearsal room, guitars , drums ect, is the choice of insulation that important? How about the type for corner bass traps vs wall/ceiling absorbtion.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Confused on types of insulation
Same as it ever was...... For deep traps frames filled with low density/cost attic insulation are way best.
But if you are building 2'x4'x4 Traps I recommend a pretty rigid product. 100KG density.
