Hey Pro's!
Question, looking to build out a basic home studio room. Sound isolation (in and out) is important but not crucial (quite residential basement). More important is the sound quality of the room, especially in low frequencies.
See attached. Right wall is an exterior concrete slab, the other 3 sides of the room are 2x6 construction. Is it essential to use double wall construction on the concrete wall side or will it be sufficient with single 2x6 filled with 703 owens?
Room is 10x16 or so.
Comments much appreciated!
Double frame wall against exterior concrete wall necessary?

Re: Double frame wall against exterior concrete wall necessa
If isolation isn't an issue, then just acoustically treat the room with treatment devices. Don't worry about building new walls.
