Very Small Studio Layout

Post by ESCA »

I have a stupidly small space to use as a studio for production and some basic recording. The room is 7.5x7x8 feet (LxWxH). It only has half of a back wall due to the fact that there is a garage door (insulated) on the right side. I've gone thru a few renditions of the acoustic treatment layout in Sketchup and I think I'm getting close to a workable concept. Let me know any critiques you have. Images linked below.

The monitors will be angles at 34 degrees from parallel instead of the traditional 30, I'm trying to avoid a cloud unless its a must since it would have to be blocking the only light in the space.

Sorry I had no idea of the guidelines. I'll repost with them in consideration.

So, any updates on the project, how is it going, did you implement some changes in your plans or are you following them?
