Apologies folks, 
Some "cabeca de Ricardo" in the same apartment complex "stole" the wire pair running my DSL line - This happened Friday Morning local (Sydney) time and I couldn't get it fixed until Monday PM. We have now "stolen" back the pair and everything should be running okay now. Hope no-one had this forum tied into an automatic defibrillator or nuttin'
