I would compromise: if you cut it down by just 6", to 20'3", you are still good with ratios, and it's better to go with greater volume when you can, especially with a very low ceiling! By keeping those extra 18" inside the room, you can have an extra 18" of bass trapping on the rear wall, and since you will likely need about three feet of bass trapping back there anyway, that extra space makes a lot of sense.
