How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Funny Stu, your signature does exactly that on this room. It amazes people! I get responses like "it makes our band better!" and "I don't have to crank up my gain to get heard". Amazing, indeed :)

:) Yup! But I didn't see any "that'll do" in your build! What I saw was careful research, careful planning, careful design, and careful construction. That's why it made it to "amazing".
