Hi,
I'm looking to buy a Soundproof Isolation Booth. I've narrowed my choice down to Gretch-Ken's (GK) Double Deluxe Model Booth (http://www.gretchken.com/sound_booths.htm). However, I'm still open to alternatives.
My desire is to have a quiet sanctuary to come home to, to meditate, to research, to sleep, and to practice my instrument.
I like this particular booth's NIC and STC ratings (40 and 55, respectively).
I'm trying to tackle the lower frequencies (e.g., airplanes, trains, loud bassy [bump bump] music), and this one seems to offer a 35 dB reduction at 125 Hertz.
Is there anything better out there? Any feedback on GK as a company?
Need real people with real experiences to help me alleviate my concerns. Don't want to waste $8,000 to $10,000.
All insights welcome!
Thoughts on Gretch-Ken's (GK) Double Deluxe Model Booth?

Hi. Please read the forum rules for posting (click here). You seem to be missing a couple of things!

If you are budgeting 10k for a commercial booth, then you could get something much more suitable by building it yourself. Cheaper too, probably.Don't want to waste $8,000 to $10,000.
