Small garden studio & control room

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

A small update for the studio.

The band purchased an xlr snake and a couple of other leads with the wall plates etc ,

pulled the leads through the ducts between the control room and tracking room and then Matt the bassist fitted and soldered the wall plates, not great photos I know as using an old Iphone 3s but everything works and looks a bit more profesional

I know this is a bit of a necro, but what are the blue devices holding up the cross-members on this riser?
