Hey folks,
I came across the opportunity to buy this building that's currently being used as a law office.
There is a conference room inside that I think may work well, but I wanted to hear the thoughts of some of the experienced acousticians amongst us here...
The conference room is 17.2ft x 17.95ft, with very high irregular ceilings - they are at least 15ft high.
I've uploaded an album of pictures of the room/ceiling structure for consideration. https://imgur.com/a/CZ8SE
My overall goal here is to make this room into an inspiring environment that allows me to produce and master electronic music recordings. The space doesn't have to be perfect, I often outsource for mastering - but I like to have things sounding tight. Can it be done?
So I have a couple questions and I really hope someone can help me:
1) Is this a good spot to consider? Can it be made into a great project studio/okay mastering room with the right acoustic treatments?
2) What budget should I be considering in order to hire someone to professionally do the acoustics for me? Who should I contact for this? I'm in Southwest Florida.
