Hi,
I'm building a recording studio at home.
it's a garage type studio
the dimensions are : 14m x 5m between outer walls (bricks)
I would like to build inner walls with (from outer wall to inside wall) 2 x 18mm OSB sheets, 120mm stud for timber frame with wood wool insulation inside the frames and slats resonator.
1- I read a lot of posts in the forum but I don't know what to do to avoid condensation and moisture between inner wall and outer wall.
2-Is it important to add insulation between the outer wall and the first OSB sheet and why?
3- the role of slat resonators is only for acoustic treatment (low mid absorption) or for acoustic insulation too.
In this case, do I need to use high density timber like exotic timber (cumaru for example) to add mass
thanks a lot
regards
Yannick

Re: inner wall construction and condensation problem
There is an announcement at the top of the forum about what to do to assure getting as many responses as possible.
The announcement leads to this post (click here). Actually, several people, who are experts on this forum, will most likely not reply if you don't do what is written in that post.

Thanks Stuart and sorry for that.
I’ve just completed my Profile and I transfer my project to another more generalistic thread (20155).
