vocal booth acoustic treatment

The slots are going to bring down the verbtime of the low-mids - you also need to bring down the highs to match it. I'd put 703 type insulation on the other walls and the ceiling at around 50%.

If i am laying a carpet then it is required to put some cloth covered exposed insulation on ceiling also? I have got some good pillow coveres with a artistic canvas on it , i am thinkint to fill with insulation and hang on some of the walls, will give a good look also ...... opinion?

Yup - that will look cool - just make sure you get a good insulation - rigid fibreglass is better if you can get it where you live.

thanks john... i have just completed with my vocal room that includes:

2 slat resonator walls -tuned for 200--800 hzs
remaining walls -with high frequency absorbation (exposed Foam+cloth)
ceiling -(exposed Foam+cloth)

if you give me a permission ...... can i post some pictures
