Corner Bass traps > 90degress

Post by soundmanjames »

Hi I need to build a bass trap in the rear of my control room. I have two angled rear walls that meet in the back middle of my studio and create an angle of 150 degrees between them. Do I need to build a very wide bass trap to cover the angle and get enough distance out from the back of the studio? Or can I build a corner trap as you would for 90degree corners? I have frequency issues in particular around 60hz!!

The room is approx 6x8m and 4.5m angled ceilings
Many thanks!!

Hi. Please read the forum rules for posting (click here). You seem to be missing a couple of things! :)

It would help if you post a diagram of the room, so we can see what you are talking about...

Have attached a few pics to give an idea of the room - not conventional but seems to work :)
