I'm looking to make a good control room out of what I have been given, an asymmetric room in my basement.
I've researched acoustic treatment and acoustics in general a modest amount but I'm not confident in making major calls like whether or not to build a wall in order to make an asymmetrical room symmetrical.
I cannot change the boundary walls but I can add a wall to make it symmetrical.
The room floor in laminate "wood" flooring.
Here is the room (measurements are in inches)

My question:
1. Would it be acoustically superior to make this room symmetrical by framing a wall, if so where?
