I'm guessing these square ones would not sound too good- especially at 4x4.
But what about the bigger ones? Anybody have any experience with these?
Or thoughts in general?

Yeah the square stuff isn't ideal. I'm guessing though that if the walls are quite thin anyway then you will get a lot of the low end "pass through" as it were so may go some way to minimising LF standing waves and then the mids/highs get absorbed by the foam? just an idea.
