Re: Studio Rebuild!
that will work - I use plastic over all the walls for that very reason.

Re: Studio Rebuild!
Do you .use it all over the walls because you have very transparent fabric? Mine is pretty tight so I thought I wouldn't need to cover all walls..

Re: Studio Rebuild!
Looking great, Javier! And I simply cannot believe that you were working on your studio during Fiestas Patrias!
Where's your patriotism!!!
Seriously, it's looking good! Sorry I haven't commented much, but I've been on vacations in La Serena, enjoying the sun (and the fiestas patrias...)

Re: Studio Rebuild!
Just a few drinks and hangovers but no time for holidays! Been working non stop for 21 days now and gotta start producing a new film ASAP (Stefan Kramer ) the good things we are building with friends and no workers so we've had great times doing it
So far the room sounds very good. And I haven't put any equipment yet! Nice and bright and still have to put more fabric and reflective/diffusive wooden slats

Re: Studio Rebuild!
Cool! That should be fun, and hopefully profitable too. Pretty neat that you managed to land such a major production, too! No wonder you need to get the place done quickly. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.gotta start producing a new film ASAP (Stefan Kramer )

Re: Studio Rebuild!
Yes, I did the first one too and was very profitable !
I needed a nail gun but you didn't answer my messages haha, but don't worry we did the framing with quality screws and It was fast
Feel free to stop by whenever you want to see the progress, the cool thing about this is that finally I had the chance to make the control room treatment I wanted in the first place. The recording room John designed for me is top class and I hope the CR will be too with my humble design with all the good experience I gained from this forum plus designing a couple more studios for friends. I might even start a business for acoustic designs and solutions!
And this time I'll do for sure an opening cocktail! With pisco sours

Re: Studio Rebuild!
And I forgot to mention this design is 5.1 ready, I placed all electrical and audio conduits hidden by the framing for a future 5.1 upgrade, so no visible cables and neat finish
