Greetings from Denmark. I'm building my first home studio
At day I have my mom downstairs, and want to make the room very neutral to translate well.
I'm thinking about buying Klein + Hummel 310 speakers when they get released in about a month,
and place them about 50 cm from the big stray wall on some proper stands
My floor is made of wood,
I have a big sheep wool carped around the sofa table.
Walls are rather thin and hollow (there's a skunk behind the sofa wall).
Ceiling might be made of gypsum and seem quite thin
The stairway is outside the door and this is where the most sound is going down to my mother, also the room where my mother is is below mine.
I haven't planed to mix at the highest of volumes tho (just once in a while) looking for monitors that is easy to tell the bass at low volumes, like the mentioned above.
I'm having a bit diffulties in my room concerning placement of acoustics due to other elements.
But I'm thinking about getting something similiar to GIK 244 bass traps cut in halfes
and placed on the two stray walls as illustrated on the picture below. There only is about 20 cm (7.87402 inches) from the ceiling to what stand on the glass shelve on the wall..
Also thinking about halves on the side walls to the left parallel to sofa, since I only have 46 cm (18.1102) on the side where the door is, as the wall is going in a little bit in that end as shown.
And maybe two more on the walls by the listening position, depending of space. At the top from the window panel to where the stray wall start, there 64 cm (25.1969 inches)
The rest could be wholes I guess. And cloud perhaps double size
As you might see in the lower left corner theres a door, and thats why I'm thinking about getting something like this http://gikacoustics.com/product/custom-metal-stands/
. With the same height and size and what would be in the corner between the sofa and the wall shelve.
I'll probably build some of these myself, out of rockwool flexi bat material, like these http://lydmaskinen.dk/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=41404
My budget max is about 1700 AUD, as I understand room treatment is a very important factor. Also my room is not the biggest,
and the speakers I'm looking as should have quite some bass, as I'm making music for the clubs, like big rhytmic tribal drums etc.
Which is more in the tight kick compartment compared to sub bass like found in hip hop dubstep etc. but in the mainstream with perhaps big catchy synths at times.
Please don't hesitate to ask for further needed details if needed

I know its a good idea to test the room with the speakers you intend to use for spikes n falls in the room, and Ive read you can treat your room too much?
What do you think about the idea on the picture? Any other ideas`?

Which treatment elements would you recommend before getting my speakers?
And what would you reckon I will add after measuring the speakers in the room?
Looking forward to an answer
