Build - live/rehearsal room - Vienna

In the last years I have seen so many inspiring pictures in this forum, so I will add mine too
As i don't have a cam I nearly have taken all the pics with my mobile phone...the quality is 'not so perfect' with bad lighting conditions.

copy/paste (with some adjustments) from the design thread:
What it should became:
A live room for recording my own stuff and in between for renting it to musicians/bands as a rehearsal room.

Budget:
~10.000eur (15.000 with heating, cooling, ventilation,...)

Some information about the room:(pics below)

Location
It is at ground-level in a block in the city, but there is a cellar (arch) underneath .

• Adjacencies:
• In the cellar directly underneath there is a storage room
• Diagonally downwards there is a conference room of the neighbouring company...will have a meeting when I record loud things!
• On two sides the office
• One side is to my other room (maybe a small control room in some years)
• One side is an adjacent house with dwellings
• The biggest problem I think (lowest STC) will be the wooden beam ceiling (with plaster) to the flat above.

Dimensions (LxWxH)
~ 6m x 5m x 4.8m
~ 20ft x 17ft x 15ft
(The height was the crucial factor to buy this room).

I decided to have a wide distance between my new and the old ceiling to have better isolation and to have the space to move onside my room.

Sylomer:
There is rubber under each wall to decouple them (and their ceiling) from the old substance.
Resonance frequency would be around 16Hz full loaded. I think I will be a little bit to light. So my resonance frequency will be around 20Hz if my calculations are right.

So how did you attache the framing to the floor then? I don't see any bolts on the sole plates.

Resonance frequency would be around 16Hz full loaded. I think I will be a little bit to light. So my resonance frequency will be around 20Hz if my calculations are right.

What type of rubber is that, how thick is it, what loading will be on it, and how much deflection will that cause?

Hi Stuart, glad to see you in my thread

Firstly, the rubber is clued to the floor and sole plate. I had an interesting email conversation with one of the engineers of the manufacturer to decide about the right density and the clue to use. His opinion was that with the room being stiff enough it should be ok to only clue it.

But in addition I am building some buffers to catch heavy dynamic forces in other direction but downwards in case of an earthquake. Also if in my 30years of age there was only one earthquake that was strong enough to really feel it...its cheap to build those buffers...so I do it.

What type of rubber is that, how thick is it, what loading will be on it, and how much deflection will that cause?

I use two different kinds of sylomer:
R25 for a static load up to 0,025N/mm2 (under the two walls that have to carry 9/10 of the ceiling)

In my calculations my 4 walls (without room cables, hvac acoustic stuff and other interior) will have
~0,02 N/mm2 for the walls with the ceiling on top
~0,14 and ~0,13N/mm2 for the other two walls

My Formfaktor (shape factor) q will have 3,5 and 3,1

My resonant frequency therefore (Eigenfrequenz) will be at ~15Hz (25mm Sylomer)
The deflection at ~1,5mm. But this will change over time...as you can also see in the pdf.
