when making a membrane trap does the inside insulation have to be rigid fiberglass, or would anything that would restrict movement work......
i have a whole bunch of useless 2" styrophome closed cell, and was wondering if that stuf would work close to the membrane?

Hello Figurehead,
If using it in a membrane trap it will acts (about) as if the air volume (or depth) decreases thereby increasing the resonance frequency.
Regards
Eric
I'm sorry to say, but it will remain useless untill you find a thermal or whatever other creative purpose for it.i have a whole bunch of useless 2" styrophome closed cell
