Great forum. I'm hyped on building some traps now and looking for the
OC insulation in the LA area. Any suggestions on getting the stuff around here?

FWIW, the salesman I talked to there would only offer to order some thin Johns Manville products that were NOTHING like rigid fiberglass boards. (But he claimed they were the only acoustic product worth getting....) When I requested the Johns Manville equivalent of 703 ("Spin-Glass" board), he said that they do not handle that product.

After several months of looking for 703 (or equal) in LA, I gave up and ordered the Auralex mineral fiber board (4") from West LA Music - its a great product, but absurdly expensive.
