Help with slat wall

Hi, I have a few questions about a slat wall:

The slat wall of John Sayers have the same effect if I change the lenght, he use 2100x1200x6mm for two slats, it's the same if I construct 1 of 1900 of lenght x 2780 of height? and other of 600 lenght and 2780 height? with the same slats and gaps of John?

In the picture of John yhe wool is at the bottom of the box but in the sae picture ( www.sae.edu/reference_material/audio/pages/Low Mid Frequencies.htm ) is after the fabric, what's the difference?

Yes, you can change the height and width of the wall as needed to fit your space, as long as you keep the slat and slot dimensions the same.
