Hi all, and Merry Christmas!
I have a 19'x14' room 8'5" ceiling that I just finished 5/8" sheetrocking using RC1 and RC2. Even with nothing up it sounds pretty good, but I do not know yet where the problems lie. I found this program on the net.
http://www.hometheatershack.com/roomeq/ FREE! You set a mic up at the listening position, or any position you want to analyze, and it will show you the audio curve for that area. You can calibrate for different mics/soundcard/etc. to get a true representation of the room. ANYONE use this before?
Are there any other cheaper programs that will anyalze your room and/or give me info on what I need to do treament wise to get good tracking on my recordings. Or is there a better/different way to proceed at this point?
if I did not give enough info let me know
thanks... Jam
ready for treatment... finally

Yes, most of us here are familiar with REW. It does a great job, especially for the price. Go for it.
