Hi,
I have my drum kit in a concrete shed in my back garden, which is made of four double concrete walls on a six-foot deep concrete base. It's quite good at keeping the sound of the drums from annoying my neighbors at the moment. I plan on putting in a raised wood floor in January (it's just carpets on concrete right now) and I was wondering:
Would this reduce sound isolation to the outside?
Would it have a negative effect on the sound of my drums in the room?
Any suggestions on methods of building raised wood floors also greatly appreciated
