Hi everybody, after 2 years I start working on my studio i must say I think I have a problem with 50Hz and high frecuencies on my studio. A few projects I send to a mastering studio has the same problem. Each engeneer said me I have a problem on 50Hz. This frecuence is very load and then there is no presence on mixing. I cut low frecuencies and grow up mid and high frecs on every instrument but still is a very moody sound on mixes. Should I have a problem on control room? I use an ADAM p22A monitors and Aurora 8 converters and Mackie big knob controler(I think this gear must be replaced). Monitors are on ultimate support stands, but I still not fill it with sand or something similar    .... I must to cut high frecuencies on ADAM monitor because they are so harsh and strident. But still mixes use to be so dull. Thanks. Salutations to Knightfly. He helps me a lot on my studio construction.

Aloha, Sorry to hear of your problems. Perhaps a bit more info might help. - What are the dimensions of your room? L x W x H - Are you on a concrete slab or raised floor? - Where is your mix position located from front wall? - Have you done a frequency sweep response of your room? Aloha 8)
Hi Kendale, My room dimensions are: 15' x 9 ' x 9.5' aprox. I'm on raised floor. My mix position is this:

I've done some frequency analysis before but I don't know where are this mesurements. Perhaps I'll try another mix analisis. And I will attach results here.
