no suggestions? :( if i would place 1 or 2 walls? actually i have the speakers at the top wall placed, sound is okay but speakers sounds different muting left or right speaker (less bass at the left speaker).
Aloha and welcome to the forum, If you could provide a little more info please, it might prove helpful? - Complete measurements of walls - How tall are your ceilings? - Are your ceilings flat or vaulted? - Any doors/windows and their location and measurements? Thanks! Aloha 8)
hi :D , thank you! ok i make this!
hi again! .. and now in 3d :D the ceiling heigh in 2,5 Meters, but i have mounted a "false" system- ceiling like in a office, filled with a layer fiberglass. it hangs 20cm under the real ceilling wich is not vaulted. the walls and the real ceiling are concrete and the floor of the "living area" is parkett. its only a rented small appartment .since i make every day music there i need to chance something! i plan to build some walls wich i can remove in some years when i move from there. it would be fine if i can make the constrution without doors...? i dont crank up the speakers so it dont need to be Soundproof. i forgotten, i have 4 wood panel traps here they are in the size of 55x80x16,5 cm , resonat freq at 70Hz... thanks a lot! and enjoy your x-mass days ! bye bye

hi, after some 3D walk arounds i think the best to make the apartment usable for living and mixing would be something like that(or moving the "front wall" complete to the left, to get more space and then mounting a door beside the left speaker)i dont know its tricky :)

it might be simpler to build a straight partition instead of the angled one. it would give you more room in the walk way (and might be legal...) and room modes will be easier to compute. then you can fill the corners with trapping which you won't have in the design with the angled walls.

hi gullfo thanks for reply! my speakers are now on the right wall, and i moved my little Wardrobe to the left of my listening position. and placed 2 wood panel traps behind/above the speakers, and a heavy curtain to left big window and some fiberglass to the other side, and backwall. still have 2 panel traps here but dont know where to place them for best results. hmm i think i post some pictures again.
