Building a studio in Basement with $3000 - Possible?

Hello all, me and my dad are looking to build a studio in our basement, and i've just looked at some of the designs that John drew up for SAE... they look good for our situation. Now, would it possible to build the studio with $3000, including insulation (Roxul AFB?). I'll build some bass traps and some other acoustical treatment... the house is over 50 years old.. lol I'll try to get pictures of the basement and plans of what we'll do.

Just divide $3000 per the area involved... it will give a rough estimative for the price per square meter or square foot.. then you can compare with material costs etc.
