Hello all, I have some problems with my basement slab... it is VERY uneven, and it's gotten me wondering, how will I ever put a floor on top of this? I've heard things about this "Mapei PlaniPatch" from Lowes, but would it work in filling in the "slopes" in the slab?[/list]

i used self leveling mortar in my bathroom before i tiled it.
not sure the square footage you need to cover, but that stuff works great.
it was all uneven, i poured just enough to cover the whole floor with about 1/4" at the thinnest point. dried overnight and it was perfect.
i'll second the self levelling mortar.
I did this for my parents basement. 250 year old house and the floor was a bit dodgy to walk around for the laundry room.
7 years and still looks good.
have someone out to give you an estimate on work to level it? I bet there are several ways to look at this.
