Hi, I'm considering using slot resonator as my absorber in my studio. And I got a design from a friend which is a sound engineer in Germany, and his design shows that the insulation (rockwool) inside the slot resonator is touching the slots. The depth of the cavity behind the slot resonator is 20cm. But I've seen other slot resonator designs, and the insulation isn't touching the slots. Which one should I follow? Thanks in advance, Ari

Ari, there is no issue with the insulation touching the slots because the design is not reliant on vibration of the slats. The design assumes infinately rigid members. So touch away.......... Rod
