1-room midi-studio/CR. Need some help.

Hi everyone! I'm moving to new home next weekend and I definitely need help with my new room there! This room ain't big and the shape is pretty bad too. I'm doing music with my computer and I also record singers and rappers. How should I treat this room to get the best sound? There are few buts; -There has to be a way to get to the closet -I wanna keep the window as it is The acoustics doesn't have to be portable and I'm ready to grind on this one. So please help me. Edit your profile to include your location. This is very important, because this is a worldwide resource, and as such, material costs and availability vary widely. For example, masonry is cheaper than gypsum in some parts of the globe, whereas it's the exact opposite in other regions.

You'll probably get more of a response by doing so and this will really come in handy two or three posts down the road. It's also part of the forum guidelines. Thanks Kendale. I really have to learn to use these forums better. I thought it would be best to set the table in front of the window, and build basstraps in the front corners. Maybe I could make a hole to my speakers in to the basstrap. I also need a place to record vocals. I though the corner next to door might work nice for that? I'll try to work something out with sketcup after work. I would appreciate your help a lot! Keep them designs coming :) Thanks

they could be drapes or you can convert (some or all) of the closet into bass traps with a cloth cover, and very wide spaced slats to keep it from being completely dead.

I live in Lahti, which is the city next to Finlands capital Helsinki. Flights doesn't cost so much anymore I visited US few months ago for only 380€ overall. welcome.
