Hi Guys,
My name is Mike and actually I do have a small music production in my basement. At the moment my whole equipment is placed on 2 office desk tables with about 200cm x 80cm (100cm). To get a clue about this have a look here:

As I will have to move away from here I will have a "small" room in the basement of my new home. I am not sure whether I want to have a one-room solution (with maybe a small vocal booth) or a 2 room solution by dividing the room with for example a stone wall.
Room Dimensions: 5,40m x 3,40m x 2,06m
Budget: around 500Euro
I attached also a rough Sketchup file including doors and small windows. It would be great if you could have a look and give me a suggestion.
I am located directly between Cologne and Düsseldorf and I will do mainly electronic but also pop music. I think I will not record any bands, but it would be great to be prepared if there will be a request. So the 2 room solution should be made for recording drums, too.
Thanks and all the best,
Mike

with that budget you're probably better off with a single room with good treatments. maybe buy/build a gobo with a window to section off part of the room as a "vocal booth".
If the budget would be around 1000 Euro, what would then be possible?? :-)
All the best,
Mike
more treatments :-) seriously, isolation gets expensive quickly and if you read up in the construction forum, folks have been generously posting costs. you could do an inexpensive wall separating the two rooms and the treatments and maybe that meets you needs.
Wow, cool Gullfo... but the space gets very limited then, you are right. I made a try by myself (see pictures), so a bit more treatment and it would be all right? What do you think?
All the best,
Mike
on the left side by the door, put a slat resonator to balance the angle created by the booth.
