Finally got a chance to get out of my bedroom. I got a two rooms connected to each other. One room is 4.05*4.2 meters, and a tiny room that I am planning on using as a vocal booth is 1.3*2.54 meters. The ceiling is 2.60 meters. All the walls are made of brick. The door between two rooms is 0.80*2 meters, and I am thinking about installing a glass door there. I don't really know what would be the best way to make the booth completely dead (since its so small). The other room is going to be used as a mixing/production room, and I am planning on putting two tables there- one with a computer, controller, preams and other recording gear, and another one behind it with my synths, mpc and turntable. I am renting these rooms, so I can't really build anything. I was thinking about putting an office ceiling, maybe slanted towards the booth, placing broadband absorbers (framed rockwool covered with fabric) and corner bass traps around the room (don't know how many and how big they should be), and placing lots of same framed broadband absobers in the booth, maybe from the floor to the ceiling, maybe cutting a corner with them...

Yeah, I've read all the stuff on his website. And I also posted that picture on gearslutz forum, and he even answered me :-) right now I am thinking about placing 10 cm thick absorbing panels all over the vocal booth, with one panel covered with fiberboard (making it a bass trap) placed in the corner, so it will be making a booth a little odd shaped. The rockwool I found is 120*60cm, and I am going to hang it in panels about 1 m of the floor, and maybe make the ceiling at 220cm, so they will be up to the ceiling in the vocal booth. Taling about the main room, I think I should place fiberboard covered traps in all of the corners and regular absorbers halfway between me behind the first desk and speakers, and another couple halway between me sitting behind the production desk, and speakers. As far as I understand that will be the first reflection points, right?
first reflection points can be calculated based on the formula found on the art_studio page... check near the bottom...
