garage studio

Hello, I'm trying to transform my garage into al little studio. I'm only using synths,sampling. I'm only for the need of a control room whith a vocalboot in there. The layout of this studio i've made in sketch-up....... is this going to work? Thnx. I'm from holland and my english is not the best...sorry:-)

looks like a nice design. only thing i would add is a heavy drape to pull over the entrance to the other open space just to cut down on any echo you might get back from it.

Thank you for the reply. I'm not a big fan of drapes, but if the sound wil get better.... i'm on to it.

I've made another lay-out for my little studio and I would like to know if design1 is better or can I go for design2. Thnx.
