Hi all, I am currently in the planing stage of building my first studio. I am hopeing to have a control room, live room and maybe a small vocal iso booth. The studio will be built in an existing room and I have approx. 6500mm x 3300mm with a 2320mm ceiling (I might be able to sqeeze a bit more out of the ceiling). I would like to stop as much sound getting in and out as possible, the studio is on the second level of a large building so I would have to treat the floor to stop sound traveling up and down. I would like the live room to have alot of character, I don't want a dead room. Suggestions on this would be great. Budget is currently hard to pin down but let's say $5000 - $10000 for fun. This is my first attempt at design and using sketchup so any help would be great. Thanks

flip the angles on the CR so they're expanding away from the front. make sure they're at least 6 degrees or more. 15 would be better.
Hi Glenn, Thanks for your input. How does this look? The CR walls are at 6 degrees, I would lose to much if I made them any more angled.
