My own home recording studio

Hello everyone my name is Aljaž and im from Slovenia. I have very little experience with the home studio construction so i found this great forum to help me... I've made a 3d model of a room that is in the second floor of a house. I've written all the messurments in the sketch up. It's a small room but all i need is a vocal booth and a controll room. Im preety new in sketch up so its a simple model and what i ask of you if you can just finish it or help me with ideas and advices to make a realy good home studio. I dont want it to be poorly executed so i realy need you. I make rap music(if its important) My budget: 1000-1500 € thats just for the isolation, furniture,floor and that kind of stuff. Then i have to buy all the electronics after that. If you need more information about the room please remind me of it... Thank you very much!!!

you could do something like this. build it with "inside-out" walls as needed. use a smaller window in the inside. use a glass door between the CR and booth. or just go with a single room and a voal booth in it.

Hey man im realy happy you helping me i cant say how much! but where does the VB go? Could you maybe give me the skp file. And one more information im realy limited to that room so any external building is impossible. The VB dosent have to be realy big. Thank you for the anwser im looking forward to discuss this studio forward... O i almost forgot could you please use metric units cuz im from europe and i dont quite understand american messurments.

the entry lock on the side is your vox booth. you can shrink the CR if you need to make the booth bigger. the addition of a proper sealed second door adds isolation.

Ok so if i get it right you actualy enter the studio directly in the vox booth? I would realy need that skp file so i can get a better idea on the messurments and the placement of the elements and change it to fit my idea and so you can tell me if im on the right track. But i realy like the whole shape of the controll room i would never come up with that on my own. So please the skp file... thank you very much once again you are very nice...
