Morning all, I've been doing some searches for Tontine Acoustisorb3 and came up with nothing. The only thing in the archives relate to "2" and that doesn't tell me much. I'd like to get started on some panel treatments this w/end (...looks like rain) and I've found this stuff at a reasonable price at Eureka Insulation (Hoxton Park - for all the Sydneysiders here). Acoustisorb3 is NOT rigid and size is 2400x1200. Your insights are appreciatted.
http://www.bassett.com.au/sitebuilder/a ... ript72.pdf sounds likes it roughly the same density and size as 2" thick 3pcf material but is polyester . in the doc referenced, it looks like glass wool performs better. why wouldn't you use something that is well-documented to construct your treatments? is it much cheaper?
