Hi,
I'm currently designing my friend's studio. The existing space is made from brick walls, so that would be the outer wall. Now I'm still deciding whether I build a brick wall inside as the inner wall, or should I use the stud walls on wood frames filled with insulation.
Which one is better and more effective for sound insulation?
FYI in my country, the cost of building brick walls is pretty much the same as stud walls, and in some places, cheaper.
I tried to find the STC chart for double brick wall, but I can't find any.
Thanks in advance,
Ari
Double Brick Wall or filled stud walls?

Bricks have more mass, so I'd say (for isolation's sake) build a inner brick wall.
