Effectiveness of Auralex Hoverdecks, how true?
How effective are they in isolating the transmission of say the kick drum through the floor of a regular 2nd floor of a commercial lot.

they probably do something to isolate the structure borne sound but the air borne sound will still need to be controlled. I don't see any information on acoustic or impact performance on the site.
Anyone else with experience using this product? Would I be better off with a DIY drum riser. I'm not worried about airborne transmission as I have fairly good walls, unfortunately a lot of the kick gets through the floor into my surrounding room.
